About the Event

This course gives delegates an understanding on the role of a reviews officer and how to write 'appeal proof' S202 review decision letters. The course aims to assist review officers involved in assessing reviews under Housing Act 1996 as amended by providing them with a practical guide on how to deal with all the related review opportunities, At every stage the Code of Guidance 2018 will be highlighted as well as the Review Regulations 2018. Delegates will also have the opportunity to explore bad decisions and what makes a good decision. Relevant case law will also be highlighted.

This course is for those who are working as reviews officer carrying our S202 reviews on behalf of local authorities or those wishing to take up such a role.
